About Me

My Name is Dan Preiser.   I am an IASTE Local 80 Grip, working in the film industry and based in Los Angeles California.   I have always been fascinated with solving engineering problems in unconventional ways.   I have spent my life learning how to make anything using as many processes as possible.  My proficiency includes woodworking, welding, sewing, electrical circuitry, CAD, 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, and mechanical engineering.    Much of my inspiration is derived from solving problems faced by other film industry professionals.  Hopefully something I have created can be helpful to you!
